I grew up in Massachusetts where I earned a BA in Psychology and Sociology while playing college soccer. I immediately continued my studies and earned a BSN. I have been an Emergency/Trauma nurse for 14 years in 4 different states and overseas where I worked for WIC on an Air Force base in Italy. I recently moved to South Carolina and I have no plans to move again.
I have one set of di-di, boy-girl twins who were born in 2018. They arrived 10 weeks before their due date and spent months in the NICU. During that time I learned SO much. Even though I had already been a nurse for almost 10 years at the time of their birth, I knew almost nothing about premature babies, twins, or the struggles of being a new mom.
